Humans have always needed agreed-upon rules beforehand, which means that you inherit the rules and associations--and tax structure--of the society in which you were brought up. Let's see the AnCaps create a successful society on an island somewhere, or in some other giant terrarium, before the rest of us are obliged to sign on. I think they're just another bunch of twits with a big unworkable idea (Communism sounded good to a bunch of gullible people, too!) but prove me wrong. In the meantime, I like our system, and while it is painfully slow to correct course, over the long haul we keep getting better at leaving each other alone, and refining the dividing line between the public and private.
