I'm not going to complain about the SB halftime show because I wasn't the target audience and am not informed enough to weigh in on it. It would be like an old man yelling at a cloud. I've been out of touch with current music scene for over 20 years!

On this Super Bowl Sunday, I watched the new Wolfman movie. It's dramatically different than the classic version. No howling at the full moon, silver bullets or supernatural curses. The lycanthropy here is more comparable to a virus, ala rabies.

I checked out the movie adaptation of āNickel Boys.ā Parts of it were filmed here in downtown Thibodaux! The movie is told through a first-person perspective (kind of like the opening of Halloween), which takes some getting used to. Overall, a worthy Oscar contender!

Here are thoughts on 3 movies I watched this weekend: Woman of the Hour ā Effective thriller that makes you question the effectiveness of the justice system. The ApprenticeāBest villain origin story since Joker š Emilia PĆ©rez ā Original idea, but it doesnāt work as a musical.
