This passion cannot be replicated. You cannot rip a club from its community and relocate it to a soulless concrete shithole 56 miles down the road and expect the same levels of passion and meaning for fans.
It was a pure money move and it’s backfiring. Good.
Tuesday night, cost of living crisis, rising ticket prices, long journey, people can’t get off work.
L1 is such a good league, just a shame the attendance wanker club’s fans let it down.
Well done to all the fans that could make it last night - it’s a brilliant effort.
1 of the main reasons I want out of this league is so we don’t have the away end looking like this
Had enough of nonsense clubs like Wycombe bringing 7 people
Give me 2000 seething Birmingham fans with ridiculous accents. Give me 3000 livestock bothering Swansea jacks
I’m glad they’ve covered this.
I woke up this morning worried that we didn’t know Kerry Katona’s view on the presidential election yet.
Thank you OK! magazine.
FAO Wolves fans
Nigel Lonwijk is absolutely shit and needs a few more seasons with us in League One just to make sure he gets more experience. Is that ok?
I have it on good authority that both us & Posh are unable to open up to general sale because of the threats of protest from Reading.
This has restricted quite a few ticket sales for fans on both sides and the marketing they are able to do to get people there, which is a shame.
About to head back up north and reflecting on today.
Sure, we lost. But for me, this was the first season both my kids became Chairpeople - I now have two little football mates that travel up and down the country following Wycombe and I couldn’t be happier.
We’ll be back. 💙
It’s Wembley Week. A huge occasion for the local region - whatever cup it is.
15,000+ heading into London.
To be fair,
@peterboroughtel
have done an 11-page supplement (mostly shite), but still covered it well.
This is the front page of the
@bucksfreepress
for the weekend.
That was categorically the WORST game of football I’ve ever watched.
Ref needs investigating for how he handled it. Hanlan, not even stopping the game for Leahy, the countless fouling.
Professionalise refereeing and we get better referees.
🚨 BREAKING 🚨
Haliey Welch of
@talktuahpod
says she is “pleasantly surprised” by Wycombe’s goalscoring exploits so far this season.
“It’s like Gormania has returned to Adams Park - where even if Wycombe concede loads, they’ll just score more.”
@elianwilliams3
@footballscomin
It’s the media. The sabotage and building up arrogance gives the media more to talk about.
We are so so wary of Denmark tonight. It is going to be hard.
We are set to have a Kazakh academy, as well as a UK one. I’d anticipate we will become a second team for many Kazakhs, and potentially secure some of their best, young talent.
Investments worth £17m.
Wycombe is set to change a lot.
Ағылшын футбол Лигасының келісімін алғаннан кейін Михаил Ломтадзе (
@m_lomtadze
But we’re club murdering vultures and pieces of shit.
ALMOST LIKE THE WHOLE THING FUCKING HELPED DAI FUCK OFF…
Will there be redactions and apologies in the spurious claims against our club because people didn’t have the full facts?
I suspect not.
Now obviously the elephant in the room is Bearwood. Am told this NOT being included was a big draw for some investors, with the expensive running costs putting buyers off. As things stand atm new arrangements for training would be needed

🚨YEARLY REMINDER FOR WYCOMBE FANS🚨
- Shit loads of signings don’t equal success
- Matt & Co aren’t sat around waiting for signings to walk in
- We aren’t playing 7-a-side next season so signings will come
- We don’t sign players early, we recruit carefully.
1/2
It was immense, but what makes me so happy is - look at the rest of the team and how they react once it goes out.
We have such a great spirit within the team there - and one that really encourages young talent. I’m glad team like West Ham and Wolves can see that.
Love it.
If this Gideon Kodua effort had hit the back of the net, it would have been a goal talked about for years at Wycombe. Look at the appreciation from his team mates too 😍
If Wycombe have any sort of ambition, they should look no further than myself.
A 105-point season in my first year achieving above the odds with St Albans City is no mean feat.
Sorry
@stalbanscityfc
- it’s just my time.

I’m happy Mikheil says he is keeping to this ethic. I hope he does.
I wouldn’t expect loads of money being spent - but a brilliant academy and better training facilities will be a game changer for us.
Two games played against them now.
How the fuck are Derby second?
Won’t even manage getting through the playoffs if they play like that.
Much more reassuring from us though. Good signs for next season. Please get Wolves on the phone for Nigel round 2 next year.
"Something I will remember for the rest of my life" 🥺
Joe Jacobson opens up on his future and what it was like leaving Wycombe Wanderers after a decade at the club 🔵
Shrewsbury Town are disappointed to confirm Dan Udoh has turned down the offer of a new deal and has left the club to join Wycombe.
We would like to thank Dan for all his service over the past five years.

💪 A real squad and staff effort.
Chairboys have hit the road in style this week with three wins from three, and Matt Bloomfield was full of praise for everyone who's played their part.
He spoke to WanderersTV after the latest success in Carlisle.
I know football isn’t determined in slow motion, but that is Max’s ball caught until the defender knocks his arm out the way.
Leading with his arm before his head.
See them given sometimes and sometimes they aren’t.
@fairycakes
Yes but none of the chefs leave the tent and you have to pay a lot to watch it.
Oh and Paul Hollywood makes billions off it. And they make bread every week.
