@EdKrassen @Web3BPP Think Iceland. How many things can it have? the rest (almost everything) comes from international trade. The US is much larger than Iceland, but the same principle is operative. You can't scale down the global economy and enclose it in US borders. Doesn't work. You need trade.

@D_A_Irwin He put India in the BRICS club (. One can only imagine his views of the United States assembling a license, permit, quota raj pursuant to S. 232 and S. 301 tariffs and possibly Trump trade-rebalancing tariffs to rival what he dismantled.

She is enough to inspire all we have to do.
Some encouragement and inspiration before going into 2025! An incredible performance by young Ukrainian gymnast Oleksandra Paskal, who lost her leg due to a russian attack. She performed at the Rizatdinova Cup tournament and impressed the organizers and audience so deeply that she was awarded the title of “Miss Resilience” and received personal recognition from Olympic champion Ganna Rizatdinova. Ganna called Oleksandra “the embodiment of resilience” and thanked her for her performance. May we all have at least a portion of Oleksandra’s resilience and courage as we move into 2025!

Ukraine decided not to go into that not so good fucking night gently and fought back. So we are still here. Fuck Putin (although it is hard to imagine any sentient being who would volunteer for that cringe-worthy task).
One more year of the country coloured in red unable to break the country coloured in gold. F you, russia. Happy new year, decent people of the world! #StandWithUkraine

Thanks to you Valerii, Ukraine lives to fight another day, another week, another month, another year, another eternity. Ще не вмерла Українa. The greatest national anthem ever. Happy New Year.
The year 2024, though it passed quickly, was a difficult trial for all of us. A year when it felt as though grief, despair, and disappointment would never leave us. Yet, it was also a year of hope. This year taught us that our fate is entirely in our own hands. What we need in the coming year is purpose, unity, wisdom, and an unwavering determination for Victory! We should not be ashamed, even though it will still be difficult.
