Call me old fashioned but shouldn’t the brakes be controlled by your foot and your foot alone. F1 is lost in its technology and truth is the fans just want close racing! All these systems need banning and let’s put the SPORT back in motorsport. Less laptops, more driving!

I feel that’s the first time we’ve really seen Lewis vs Max. Flat out in machinery that’s closely related. Even with Max on 10 lap newer tyres Lewis is sensational. Lewis 1, Max 0 👊🏼

One thing that struck me today about Hamilton’s perfect Quali lap was how close

was. 2 drives that come with a great car but mega pressure is being either Lewis’s or Max’s team mate. To be only a tenth off Lewis makes you pretty much rapid by any measure!
