As a Gen Xer, mom used to leave us kids in the car all the time, although rarely in freezing temperatures, unless the car was running. Why would she do that? Whenever she went to visit grandma, she wanted a fast out āgotta go, the kids are in the car.ā That usually cut the stop down from 2 hours to an hour and a half, or less. Sometimes she was just making a quick trip inside the gas station, or a quick trip inside the grocery store. Yep, it was fairly common, and not illegal in the 70ās and 80ās. Thatās why so many of my peers ended up on the back of milk cartons. š¤·āāļø

@Og_Ellbie @NoContextBrits A teacher from my sonās high school was arrested a couple months ago while f*cking one of her students. Gun sales wonāt change that. The U.K. banned firearms in 1997 and it did nothing for their homicide rate. Just a fact.
