As a lab and clinical immunologist/rheumatologist i can not emphasise enough your point , but vice versa a positive result isn’t diagnostic: these are sub classification tests . In addition the term negative is not recommended but instead not detected : all tests differ in their sensitivity/specificity : all should be aware of the technique used
