Those were all Covid cases of more years in college. I agree that hurt high school recruiting. That’s sine now, and that’s not the case with Steven Ashworth. Look up Chris Weinke, Nate Boyer, Damian Jackson, Collin Chandler or others. These aren’t the same… And in 2025 scholarships to high schoolers will go up.

@GoetzItSold @TheHoopHerald Yeah that’s not how it works it had ever worked. Those weren’t college years. Hell we had a 26 year old Heisman winner because he played professional baseball, didn’t make the bigs, and enrolled in college for the first time at 23.

I ‘hate’ Creighton, but there are some real trash takes out there today on Steven Ashworth. The you man is a Mormon, and took a 2 year mission trip after high school. From all accounts he’s a great guy, clearly a family man, and playing his 5th year of college basketball. Let’s not knock someone who hasn’t played the Covid card and has done things the right way.

High school girls remember….when someone tells you that you only need to play one sport, the head coach of the best volleyball team in the land won ✌🏽 basketball 🏀 championships in high school in the same gym she will now coach volleyball 🏐 in daily!
