Last night during @itswittlebears pumpkin carving contest, Kick Staff came in to tell me that I’ve been accepted into KCIP!. This really means a lot to me and will help keep the community garden growing!. Tonight I’ll be hosting my first workshop: Fire-Starting 101 💚🌻

I never got a chance to say it out loud because I burnt out pretty hard, but I’m really proud of myself for what I managed to accomplish during the front page program. I came to Kick to teach gardening, so to build a month long curriculum was a one shot, one opportunity moment.

Multiple people have commented on me “coming out of my shell” at DreamHack. They are right. My #1 priority in Dallas was to have fun. Networking was a distant 2nd. I’ve had a tough few years, so thank you for letting me chill & giving me the confidence to be myself again 💚🌱.

Sometimes I worry that because I’m not a hype/party stream that I’ll cap out, because that’s what I see at the top. I don’t yell, I don’t dance (on stream lmao), and I don’t make fun sounds/effects. That’s just not who I am, so I try to lean into the things that I’m good at 🤞.

Genuinely curious how you all see me fitting into this discussion. In my mind, I worked really really hard to get attention brought to a un-sexy niche and as a result got support from Kick. Isn’t that how it��s supposed to work? Or has my story been rewritten to show favoritism?.
Some of yall spend an unhealthy amount complaining about platforms and what other creators are doing and/or getting “favoritism”. Maybe if you took some of that time and focused on yourself and growth… you’d have less to complain about 😌.

I’ve mentioned this before but I’m struggling today so I figured I’d reiterate. I’m a pretty bad hypochondriac and I literally wake up everyday convinced I’m dying. It’s not so much a fear of death as it is a fear of inadvertently abandoning my family. It stems from people dying.
