You say, "the vast majority," but that is a false consensus. I have friends who are medical doctors, and the fact is that many are forced to offer specific protocols to transgender people that they don't agree with until they get out of residency and have their own practices. Many work for larger hospitals, HMO's, Medicare, etc. which also demand specific standards of care they don't agree with.

Funding in what sense? They do not need separate bathrooms in federal buildings or public lands. Nor should any funding go to transgender elective surgeries. Mental health services in specific capacities for people who are a danger to themselves and others, sure, but that can be done at the state level by reopening the asylums with a modern standard of care.

USAID is simply the office of US AID, it and other departments like the U.S. Agency for International Development have been targets of Libertarian politicians for years. This is not a new conversation. I remember in the 2000s when they were handing out money in Afghanistan to bribe farmers to stop growing poppies for the international heroin trade, and how all that money was laundered and disappeared while they continued to grow poppies. The same goes for all the funding for infrastructure that was immediately stolen.
