A Guy Called Gerald – Black Secret Technology (1995). "All i listened to for a year was Black Secret Technology. When I was growing up it was hardcore or jungle tunes and you would catch people singing them while doing the washing up. like 'Finley's Rainbow.'"

Seba & Paradox - Move On (2005). "I'd made this CD for me to listen to on my way back into London from my girlfriend's house. kind of deep nighttime London tunes. but also some sort of big club tunes, like vocal things, It had this Seba and Paradox tune on it 'Move On'."

Foul Play - Dubbing You (1992) . "I’ve got this amazing old Foul Play tune that I love called “Dubbing You” - it sounds just like an El-B tune. I dunno: all my favourite producers came out of no-where and then went back underground. That’s what I want to be like."

Digital Mystikz – Misty Winter (2006). "I love Digital Mystikz. I couldn’t have dreamt them up. Their tunes go beyond other tunes straight into the heart of something else. Some of those tunes are so good I can’t even listen to them, like “Misty Winter.”"

Rufige Kru – Beachdrifta (2001). “I love the sound of tunes that feel like they’re sort of lost. There are certain tunes [that] just have a feeling trapped in them. And ‘Beachdrifta’ by Rufige Kru… I listen to that track every day. Nothing can ever take anything away from it."

D'Cruze – Lonely (1994). "All my favourite tunes ever - “Being With You Remix” by Foul Play and "Lonely" by D’Cruze – are just rolling drums, no bullshit and just killer vocal samples. You combine that with circling stuff, it’s an ambient thing, the opposite of riffage."

Groove Chronicles - Stone Cold (1998). “That tune’s never left my head. And the thing about those drums: they’re still the future. people still don’t know how to do those drums. It’s like the last fucking secret left in music: how you do those drums. I’ve tried.”
