When I was a firefighter, I was on a crisis response team that only dealt with psych clients. Paramedic, mental health clinician, and an intern in a van. I had my tools to care for someone if they really needed an ambulance but otherwise we transported them.

My dad was in the Air Force, stationed at Andrews Air Force Base. I was born two blocks from the White House. I was in the Air National Guard.
