@Mikado1901 @dedbeddedbed @n0ned If you accidentally unplugged your Apple TV during a update you can’t restore it Because the 4K doesn’t have a usb c port Apple would just charge you for a replacement, however, with this, you can restore your Apple TV without Apple, charging you for a replacement

@cesef @dedbeddedbed @n0ned It was a motherboard issue, had nothing to do with software, but if it was software, I could unbrick it most Apple TVs being sold broken are hardware issues, not software

@nyaathea @alzxk11 @dedbeddedbed @n0ned I believe there is I’ve know people who have saved their onboard blobs on Apple TV, and in the tutorial zenzeq definitely says you can save your onboard blobs you just need to be jailbroken he also used img4tool to check my blobs but I never used it so i would have to ask

@alzxk11 @dedbeddedbed @n0ned You can definitely save your onboard blobs, but I don’t know how I’ve never done it before, I’ll have to look into it… but yes you can and it does work, btw using futurerestore on the hd model is a breeze in the park compared to this 😂

There is already a great tutorial on this made by zenzeq I highly recommended you check it out, however I feel like the general public will not be able to do this so I’ll try to make a easier guide

both Apple TV 4K I purchased are broken it’s not software people are selling these for to much !! I mean there junk unless you know how to micro solder tbh it’s still a waste of time it would take to long to fault find it and repair it there not worth 50 or even $30 more like $10

@OwenDaBanana It’ll be one of your best purchases., You will love it. The picture is amazing on my tv the color is way better than a crappy Roku & android tv and it’s so much faster!

@reneh81 This jailbreak is still in development at the moment tvOS 15 - 18.1 can be jailbroken without creating a fakefs but tvOS 18.2 & up will need a fakefs So tvOS 15 - 18.1 no fakefs 18.2 & 18.3 will need a fakesfs created by using this command Palera1n -cf then Palera1n -f
