Chalk up another reason to like Ryan Beard. Golden quote.
My camera cut short before this gem of a quote: "At the end of the day, it's football. The NIL can't save you when it's between the lines. You have to do what you have to do as football players and perform at a high level, regardless if you're at USC eating steak and lobster or

What a team, what a year. All we need is four more for a Texas League title.

Pretty surreal intro if you’re a MoState fan or alum. I’m obviously not from here, but if that was Idaho with shots of Moscow to accompany that iconic CBS Sports intro tune, I’d be stoked. https://t.co/wZAa5xNr4c

Thanks for your help, @LyndalScranton. This and your @ArtHains piece really helped round out a fun week of coverage on a very significant week in @MoStateFootball history. Onward!

Clark is intercepted for a third time and that will do it. Final: SMU 28, MSU 10

SMU scores again to make it 28 unanswered. Not gonna be a Cinderella story at Plaster on this hot day. But final margin isn't going to necessarily show the competitive fight that Mo State put up.

Disappointing that Bears didn't sell out Plaster for this first home FBS game against a marquee oppoennt, but I'm sure the heat left many to watch on the couch on CBS Sports Net. The 15,027 is just outside the top 10 all-time.
