I hope that as we further our understanding of the interaction betw exercise & genetic heart disease, we’ll provide better, more evidence-based care for our patient-athletes. Terrific cardiology GR lecture last week by Dr. O’Gara on the challenges general cardiologists face in the 21st Century. Loved the summary of new tech in cardiology esp genetics, AI, wearables, imaging. Funny because I think each of these modalities may also impact the future of sports cardiology.
