@Flickr is back from the dead! Well, probably it's not, but it still exists and for the first time in six years I have received a message on Flickr! It made me go back to the image that somebody wanted to use and it was nice to revisit that memory!

One of my many random hobbies is to use ⁦@googlemaps⁩ as my travelogue. It seems like other find the pictures interesting as well. This is nice because I am always thankful to find helpful pictures on ⁦@Google⁩ maps.

#API marketplaces come in a variety of flavors. In this discussion with @sixgroup's @SvenSiat, we talk about different patterns for API marketplaces, general requirements for them, and business aspects that need to be considered when building one.

@Joyce_Stack maybe we should talk about your experience?

@Joyce_Stack Don't try to boil the ocean but give people the ability to see how their activities fit into what the organization is actually doing. It's also great for identifying gaps and misaligned API initiatives.

@Joyce_Stack Do you have a clear capability map of the business and how API slots into that? It can help a lot to draw this direct connection between what the business is all about, and how APIs are contributing to it. It's also pure gold when explaining APIs to the business side.
