Dude basically told her tht they've never had anyone as talented✨as her apply to their studio, was ecstatic, & told her come in for an interview. She walked into the room, day of the interview, the dude's face dropped. He treated her like shit the whole interview until she left.

99% of Game Studios DO NOT care what 3D Software you use✨There is ZERO reason to overwork yourself learning almost every 3D program. As long as you can get the same look they're going for, they'll give you time to learn their preferred 3D Software/tool after they've hired you💖

The young folks you know who got into the industry early (especially POC & LGBTQ), most likely didn't get in early b/c of luck, but by burning themselves out to get their skills *ahead* of where they needed to be b/c of the biases they knew were still prominent in this industry
