Hi Karla, thank you for your tweet. We offer treatment only for mild/moderate binge eating disorder or bulimia nervosa. This is in line with NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines, which recommend guided self-help based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), or formal CBT, for these diagnoses, as the first line intervention. Our NHS staff are registered, accredited and trained to deliver these interventions. We work closely with specialist eating disorder services and GPs to refer on anyone with more complex difficulties. Therefore the treatment is fully compliant with NICE guidelines.
