Hey @GWRHelp here’s a suggestion. How about turning the seat reservation lights on BEFORE you announce the platform at Paddington? That would avoid hundreds crowding on the train, taking seats and then chaos once the reservation lights come on.

@andrewsmithwest Thank you Andy! A robust process: challenging, stimulating and invigorating. Thank you to you and Anne Massey for drawing to an end a very long journey!

Hey @networkrail. Once again I sit on a delayed train because of flooding between Chippenham and Swindon. I know this stuff isn’t easy, but this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME after heavy rain. Put it on the to-do list, please.

@theAliceRoberts Let’s make some beautiful replicas (like those in the wonderful V&A cast gallery) and enjoy the form, the story and our associations with these incredible objects. Some creative and generous thinking is required.

@GWRHelp The service is question is never “unexpectedly busy”. It is always rammed. GWR knows this.

@GWRHelp Yeah thanks. Meanwhile GWR insists on including barely occupied 1st class carriages, messing with the seat reservation system, providing far fewer seats than the market requires, and apologising a lot.

@GWRHelp Thanks for the note of apology. But I hear that apology EVERY SINGLE TIME whenever I’m on this service. The overcrowding seems to come as a surprise to staff every day.

@GWRHelp No. I rarely have that option. Which is a huge pain when the reservation lights are switched on AFTER people board the train. Leading to the most infuriating game of musical chairs.
