Munster champions!!!!
It was another fantastic day for the DLS junior boys cc team winning the Munster schools cc championship. Despite a tough course the lads came home with the gold. They will now compete in the All Ireland championships on Saturday the 11th of March.
Some of the De La Salle staff who ran the Spar Cork Airport 5km run on Friday night. All of the proceeds raised go towards the Shine Centre for Autism. Great night, despite the weather, for a great cause.
Well done to our Junior Cross Country team who finished 4th in the All Ireland Schools at the weekend . It’s been a great effort all year for these boys and Mr Landers.
Massive congratulations to the Junior Boys team of Finn Yore, Brendan O'Leary, Rory McElroy, Eoghan Healy, Liam Neville, Darragh Murphy, Sam Leavy and Cathal Neville that won the South Munster Cross Country Championship. The lads will now compete in the Munster Championship.
Congratulations to our u14 hurlers who won the Cork Colleges u14 “C” title on a score line of 2-6 to 10 points against Scoil Mhuire gan Smáll. This is the schools first hurling title after a prolonged famine. Pictured below is captain Dan McCarthy receiving the cup

Well done to our Under 16 hurlers who had a great win over a team from Schull Community College on Friday. The match was held in Kealkill and was the first round of the championship. The team are trained by Ms Dunne and Mr Long.
The fourth years with their teacher Ms. Nagle have been planting up flower beds, with flowers, shrubs, rosemary, gooseberries and lumper potatoes. The Lumper project is part of a nationwide project to grow the variety which was most common in Ireland during the famine.
Well done to our Transition Year students for making it to the top of Carrauntoohill. Conditions were not great on Friday but there were smiles all around when they reached the summit. Well done too Mr Murphy and Mr Fleming who accompanied the lads on the day
On 14/3/23 1st yr students Dylan O' Conell, Liam Neville,Christopher O' Leary & Jack O' Donoghue won an award at the Finals Day of the Lasallian Competition in Castletown Co. Laois.The theme of this year's competition was "One Life, One Man, One La Salle".Well done lads👏🏻👏🏻
Our U16 footballers will take on St. Colmans Fermoy this Thursday at 1pm in Tom Creedon Park. This is the semi-final of the Cork A competition so all support welcome! Good luck boys!
Filip Pietrzak won a 25 euro gift card for having the best outfit on Christmas Jumper Day. All Students contributed 2 euro to raise money to send two De La Salle students to Lourdes in June where they will assist the sick and elderly. Well done lads👏🏻
A competition was recently held for all JC classes to highlight the dangers of vaping. Students were encouraged to design posters, write a poem or make a video. Congratulations to the winners, Liam Neville 1st yr, Noah Cunnane 1st year and second years Dylan Lucey & Eoghan Healy.

Elections will take place on December 10th with up to 1100 members voters.
The VP role is part of the NLSC & is one of the thirteen officers on the Coiste Gno that run the ISSU .
