1 year ago today Molly and I were told Seth had brain, kidney, and heart problems and might not live to his due date.
Today—by the grace of God—he’s happy and healthy as can be. May 24 will live forever in the Patterson family—a day of great pain, which gave way to greater joy.

One year ago this very minute, this beautiful little boy was born to our family. Doctors told us multiple times he likely wouldn’t see life outside the womb. Here he is, a year later and full of life. Happy Birthday, Seth—your father loves you deeply!
