Dear All, That would be my last message on X for obvious reasons. Freedom of speech is not the freedom to say anything or to discriminate. I migrate to Bluesky @djost-physbiol. For the french community, a great tool to facilitate the migration !

Very happy to have collaborated with @aurelepiazza to investigate loop extrusion in vivo. Very rich datasets to investigate the regulation of condensing road blocks and processivity along the cell cycle. Check the preprint and the post !
How do specific communications arise in chromatin? Here we determine condensin’s loop extrusion properties in budding yeast and identify various types of roadblock. It makes a conditional loop that allows mating-type switching to take place.

Very happy to have contributed to this fantastic work by @aurelepiazza group! A new technique (HiC for ssDNA), new insights into DNA homology search, and a little bit of modeling, of course 😉. Congrats to all the team !
How do you find a needle in a genomic haystack? Yeast yields some answers here, thanks to Xless Agnès Dumont, Nicolas Mendiboure, @JSavocco, @djost_physbiol et al. Free here for 50 days, or very similar preprint here: Enjoy!

Our work on the role of transcription in regulating the 4D Genome is now out in @NatureComms . . Thanks to the reviewers for their insightful remarks !
New preprint from the lab !! On the role of transcription in regulating the structure and dynamics of genes, independently of loop extrusion. Great work from @hosseinsalari65 !! Check the tweetorial 👇
