@donkeyknicks @GWRHelp No, I agree. Unfortunately there's quite a shortage of those trains, hence only a single set not a double set.

@TristanCorkPost The fare you've selected between Sheffield and Rotherham is an Advance fare, which is only valid on that train and limited in numbers. Otherwise it's £4.30.

@donkeyknicks @GWRHelp Irrespective of whether the train was short formed you do still need to be on the correct service specified on your ticket unfortunately. Exactly the reason why; if its short formed then priority should be given to those with tickets for that particular train.

@millermalcolm @GWRHelp You won't get a refund over a faulty plug socket (for info, all of the plug sockets on those fleet of trains have been switched off due to a safety issue), you paid for a ticket to get from A to B and unless you haven't received that, that is all you're subject to unfortunately.

@AllunDavies @GWRHelp @southwalesargus Trainline, as a third party app, are notorious for shady behaviour like this. Book it direct through the GWR app or purchase tickets online and collect from the station machine/ticket office. Trainline also charge booking fees for exactly the same journey that GWR won't.

@donkeyknicks @GWRHelp If you were on the correct train specified on your Advance ticket you may have got a seat in fairness. However if the train that was 5 vice 10 coaches was yours then yes that isn't great and hopefully they'll re-imburse you the difference between first and standard if so.

@NandosUK So if I treat my family of 4 to a meal and spent say £60 I'd still only get one chilli even though it's four meals?? If so that's an absolute joke....surely it should be one chilli per meal?? Therefore it was a waste of time the other day doing two separate transactions??

Only @tfwrail would organise a random train swap at Cardiff Central in the middle of the day, then because they've decided to do such a swap and it's caused a delay, THEN decide to run fast to Radyr therefore Waungron Park etc miss out YET again. Honestly couldn't even make it up
