Meet Jacob Beser (pronounced Bee-zer), the Jewish man who detonated both of the atom bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Did you know that he later served as President of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS)? Here are some astonishing facts about Beser: ✡️Beser was the only one in the US to participate in both atom bomb missions.¹ ✡️Beser deliberately detonated both bombs at an altitude that would cause the greatest possible destruction.² ✡️After Hiroshima, the second bombing was about to be cancelled. But Beser made sure it happened anyway. The town of Kokura was originally supposed to be bombed after Hiroshima. Luckily, Kokura was clouded under haze, and so the mission going to be cancelled. But Beser intervened and persuaded the mission commander not to cancel the mission but instead to drop the last bomb on Nagasaki -- which then happened.³ ✡️As a Jew, Beser initially wanted to join the Royal Air Force in Britain so he could "kill some Nazis." He was described as "extremely restless to get into the fight against Hitler." After the attack on Pearl Harbor, he joined the US Air Force instead. ✡️When asked in interviews whether he felt any remorse for his actions, Beser had none. On the contrary, he was proud of his role. He said his only regret was that more atom bombs were not dropped on Germans as well: "If someone is looking for an apology for the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, you won’t get it from me. I am proud of my role in missions that ended WWII…. My one regret is that the bomb was not available for the final subjugation of Germany."⁴ ✡️Beser was a Zionist with family in the Jewish state of Israel, the Harlap family of Rehovot. After the war, he considered signing up for the Haganah, which was looking for air crews to help populate Palestine with more Jews. He ultimately did not sign up, and instead helped with further nuclear weapons research in the US.⁵ ✡️Years later, he would become President of (HIAS) -- from 1978 to 1980. And he served on its board as early as 1972. Today, HIAS openly plays one of the leading roles in facilitating mass non-White migration into the West.⁶ "THE JEWISH WEAPON" While many non-Jews also played a role in the bombings, it is today virtually universally acknowledged by people who study the matter carefully that Jews were the primary and essential directors. In cataloging the number of Jews who played an essential role in the creating the bomb, Jewish journalist Matthew Gindin remarked, "it troubles me that there were so many Jews involved in the creation of the bomb, so many that it is tempting to view it as a Jewish weapon."⁷ As for Truman's role, the plans for the bombings were already drafted before he took office. According to General Groves, Truman's decision "was one of noninterference -- basically a decision not to upset existing plans."⁸ Truman was, of course, surrounded by Jews, and soon after WWII he grew to resent them. In his July 21, 1947 journal entry, he wrote: “The Jews, I find are very, very selfish. They care not how many Europeans get murdered or mistreated as displaced persons as long as the Jews get special treatment.
