I think sub genres are unfortunately necessary in metal, however, I hate it when people say stuff like, āI canāt believe I like this record, itās metalcore.ā Who cares what it is? You like it because itās heavy and it sounds good. I donāt think genres should influence opinions.

Before I started listening to death metal, this was the heaviest album I had ever heard. Itās still one of the heaviest albums I have ever heard. Love them or hate them, you canāt deny the raw emotion they channeled into their music. Itās completely evident From the get go here
