I started my health journey. There’s no fitness fads, or crash diets. I needed to actually change.
I’ve had more reasons to not bother, I’ve a wee girl under 2, a stressful job, I love to sleep in, drink, eat shit.. you name it.
But I got there.

In the last few weeks I’ve heard first hand about multiple incidents of refs in amateur games being assaulted, pushed, punched, threatened with being battered after games.
I certainly won’t entertain reffing any team that’s ever assaulted a referee. The increase in abuse…

IF this is true, it's what the game needs. Alignment of leagues, a simpler structure to allow the best teams compete against one another. I've said it before, a pyramid similar to the old junior set up would be near-perfect. Hopefully the committees can work together on this.
Been hearing some nasty rumours that the Caledonian League, Central Scottish League and SAFL have been having secret meetings about amalgamating without speaking to their member clubs. Surely our elected committees wouldn’t !!!!! Would they ????

I know each team have their own challenges, some seasons might’ve finished earlier. But seeing amateur teams already training / playing games and we’re still in June seems early to me. Good rest and recovery cannot be underestimated.

I reffed a game a few weeks ago that had a player test positive in it. I was contacted the next day by the players club - not test and protect. The guidance stated is that I didn’t need to isolate unless T&P contacted me. But knowing the risk I had it was there..
