Following the recent Government announcements, subject to FA confirmation, the DGLL intends to return to action on the following dates.

Following a meeting with DCFA on Wednesday, the DGLL committee is pleased to announce that DCFA have lifted the suspension on fixtures, so fixtures can resume the weekend commencing 20th November.
DGLL ladies open age football will resume on April 11th
At tier 7, County Leagues will follow the guidance given to grassroots leagues, allowing them to make their own decision on the conclusion of the season, following FA Board approval to extend the season into June 2021.
27th March 22 will see the first Mother's Day in the past 2 years where there will be no government restrictions on meeting due to the pandemic and in order to ensure that all in our Ladies League enjoy this release from restrictions with their loved ones the DGLL has cancelled
Afternoon all, further to some disinformation that is doing the rounds the DGLL would like to clarify that we intend for fixtures to return on the weekend of 20/21st November. This weeks fixtures are the only games postponed. When we have any confirmation we will advise everyone.
Morning All, DGLL youth football will restart on the 5th December subject to FA guidance, kick off times just to be confirmed.
Open age ladies restart will depend on the tiers that Derbyshire is put in ,
So ladies fixtures cannot be confirmed until Friday at the earliest.
Just to let you all know that there will be a pitch inspection tomorrow morning at the racecourse for Saturday 08/01/21 with heavy rain due from early hours please keep an eye on the twitter feed for updates. Thanks DGLL

Organised sporting activity will still be allowed at all alert levels (medium, high, very high). This means clubs will be able to continue to train and play fixtures irrelevant of the alert level area which they sit within.

Morning all whilst we are still waiting an official announcement from the FA that grassroots football is off , the Culture Secretary has confirmed that there will be no exceptions, as soon as we hear something official we will pass the news on to you.

To achieve this additional roles have been taken on until the completion of this season, namely, Paul Randle will cover the secretary role, Dave Haywood will cover the welfare officer role and Alan Holbrook will cover the chairman role.
Further to todays announcement re Derbyshire moving to Tier 4 Covid restrictions please be aware that all DGLL LADIES OPEN AGE FIXTURES are now SUSPENDED until further notice. Youth Football at U18 and below is still permitted within Tier 4 areas.,

Morning all , games are all on tomorrow at the racecourse. However derby city have asked us to remind all teams to adhere to the rules regarding numbers of spectators, currently too many people are attending matches.

Can all teams managers, parents etc enter the ground from the cricket ground
Please can all teams and parents please keep to social distancing rules at the venue
Hopefully all good to go tomorrow folks at Derby Racecourse there will however be a pitch inspection for the grass pitches first thing . The ATP is ON at the racecourse as usual.
Could everyone please wear a face mask when using park buildings, including changing rooms and toilets to help protect both your players and the staff.

All Youth Football at u18 and below can continue and travel of those players can continue between all 3 Tier Levels.

Evening all, theres a lot of misinformation being put round about Tier 3 restrictions and Youth Sports.
Just to confirm DCFA have notified all Clubs that there are NO restrictions on Youth Football in any Tiers 1, 2 or 3 other than the FA Guidlines issued on 23rd September.
We are all good to go at the racecourse all games are on
remember to bring the correct clothing to keep warm

DCC have decided due to increased cases of Covid 19 to close all changing rooms at the Racecourse, toilet facilities will remain but all teams should arrive changed and ready to play. Thanks DGLL
