If you work at any corporation or government agency that has DEI programs, here is a template email you can send to your Chief Diversity Officer to create an Employee Resource Group (or whatever your employer calls them) for White people: I’ve recently become aware that we have Employee Resource Groups that represent and are inclusive of our diverse employees, and provide employment and educational opportunities as well as do community outreach and cultural appreciation events. I’m interested in increasing the diversity of the ERG program by creating one that represents and is inclusive of employees and communities of my culture and heritage - employees of European descent and/or who identify as White. Can you send me information on our approved process, standard, or procedure for creating a new ERG? Thank you for your time.
