Idk I think it’s possible, here’s why: Let’s take the new Fantastic Four film as an example. That film is being produced on a much bigger budget and higher scale than a mid budget, smaller scale SGT. Rock film would be. FF only began principal photography July 27, 2024 and will release just a little under 12 months later on July 25, 2025. This 8 month production schedule of SGT. Rock would, in my mind, totally make sense when we draw that comparison as well as look at Luca Guadagnino’s previous work in which he is known for very fast turn around times for his films. I think it is doable and hope to see SGT rock on the big screen May 2026!!

The story of the film will be based off of the comic run of the same name - Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow Here’s a brief summary of the comic: Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is an 8-issue comic series that follows Supergirl, Kara Zor-El, on a cosmic revenge journey. The story is narrated by Ruthye, a young alien girl seeking vengeance for her father’s murder. Together, they travel across the galaxy in pursuit of the killer, Krem of the Yellow Hills. Along the way, Kara’s strength, compassion, and humanity shine as she mentors Ruthye and faces moral challenges about justice versus vengeance. Blending stunning art with a deeply emotional narrative, the series highlights Kara’s resilience and redefines her as a hero in her own right.
