What an extraordinary multi-agency effort to keep the people of

safe. Thank you to all the first responders, emergency planners and volunteers, who continue to work in such unprecedented, dangerous circumstances.
The plan to secure the dam wall is now to:
▪️ Use 400 tonnes of aggregate to divert water from entering the reservoir and other watercourses.
▪️ Use water pumps to remove water from the reservoir.
▪️ Once the above measures reduce water to a safe level, begin work on the wall.
