Dream of Division I all you want, but I promise, Division III hockey is not a death sentence for your career. In fact, it could be the best place for you to find the top of your game. Find the place you fit the best.
It can get lost on a lot of hockey parents and aspiring college players, but D3 hockey can be a really high level of play.
Last season Adrian beat an NTDP team that posted a winning record against some strong D1 teams.

Anyone who thinks it would be beneficial for freshmen in college hockey should have to enter at 18 has NO idea how detrimental that would be to the game. College hockey is demanding and everyone develops in this game at their own speed.

Pleased to announce that I have accepted a PR position at Madison-Oneida BOCES and will start next week.
Don't worry, I will still be at UC as well continuing to call games and the like! I couldn't be more grateful for the support of the entire department. Our work's not done.

Nine years ago, I went to an NCAA opening round game on a whim. There was a snowstorm. Bowdoin's bus slid into the front door of an italian restaurant. And the game got pushed off to a day nobody else could go.
I go to my ninth D-III men's championship next week. Holy cow.
