A public awareness campaign is to be welcomed. BUT we also need enforcement by the police and justice served in the Courts.
🚨 Bad driving habits, like speeding and distracted driving, continue to cause fatalities. The government must invest in public awareness campaigns to promote safer driving behaviours and save lives. #NationalAccidentPreventionStrategy #SafeDriving #BehaviourChange

The extent of this phone use is too extreme to bear. Why was Facebook, instagram etc. more important in that moment than the life of a cyclist who was a man with life ahead of him, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a friend. A completely needless death. …..tragic

We must rebuild our roads to last 30 years instead of using the existing short-term filling-up of potholes strategy Properly newly surfaced roads will boost the economy, create jobs, and prevent road casualties. @Axolotol3 I would be happy to argue 100% against the moped rider for that one. He had just overtaken you. He knew or ought to have known you were there. He was manoeuvring. You are a more vulnerable road user …. Do I need to continue?

Am watching this development too. Pavements are for people …unless they are adapted for another use. Discarding motor vehicles on the pavement impacts others using the pavements for the primary purpose intended
