It can be achieved a few different ways! In this example I use the eye mesh to pull the pupil inward.
Pull the highlights forward a little to imitate the shape of the eyeball!

It's a simple drag and drop into the animator timeline and it'll make it's own track. It needs to be a wav file!

I think the biggest advice I have for beginner riggers is that you shouldn't focus on adding 1000s of toggles and such
Focus on the face! It's really the focal point of vtuber models 🧐
You can make expressive faces regardless of how complex the model is! 👏
