@MichiganClock 6 year olds in Ohio have never seen an Ohio State win over M in their lifetime.

@TheWrigleyWire They are going to split the lefties and the righties up. Too easy to mix and match your bullpen against this lineup

@SeanRossSapp HHH is busy running creative for a company worth billions. I doubt he’s worried about what a minor league wrestler is doing at an Indy show.

@TheWrigleyWire My guess would be those 6 year “offers” were leaked by Boras to drive up the price and aren’t real.

@biest22 @michael_busch22 @Cubs Adding some muscle as he settles into first base knowing he wont be playing 2B or 3B.

Make your final offer and let it sit. Scott Boras always makes up fake mystery teams in the mix and leaks bogus offers his clients never got to try and drive up the price and make teams bid against themselves.
Bruce Levine on Alex Bregman via @670TheScore this morning: "The Cubs are as serious as any team about this, but the creativity of the contract and the length of the contract continues to be the problem. He really hasn’t gotten a 6-year deal for $180 million.”

@sgellison Not sure why this is so hard to understand. All-pro is given to the best player at his position while MVP is given to the most valuable player to his team. The two things are not the same.

He turns 31 before the season starts. Scott Boras is so out of touch with the current market he is telling his clients to turn down great multi-year offers and they later have to settle for much shorter deals with less money per year. Game has passed him by.
Free agent third baseman Alex Bregman still has no interest in a short-term contract and seeks a 6- or 7-year deal.
