I’ve worked at my job for nearly 14 years, and I enjoy the job and company, but today I had some Institutional Rage that made me want to quit , or at least I was like will $SNEK explode already so I can retire with my memecoin money and become the friend of a friend people talk about who made it rich in crypto. 😂

No they will have a consumption tax instead, some of it will be visible like a sales tax, they’ll try to keep that low, but tariffs which are also a consumption tax will inflate the prices invisibly. The problem with consumption taxes is they take a greater percentage of poor people income because they don’t have income to save and have to spend most of their income to survive, and each thing they purchase will be more expensive because of consumption taxes. Eating away at any tax savings(from removing income tax) and likely increasing the taxes they are paying as a percentage of their income
