WHAT! I am screaming 😱. I have no clue how my work travelled around the world and landed in front of @TIME, but naming me in their 2024 #TIME100NEXT list of influential leaders shaping the future of their fields and defining the next generation of leadership is wild, and you are all right at the centre of this acknowledgement. Thank you for helping me show the world that young, quirky people can also create impact! 1 Corinthians 2:9 says: That is what the scriptures mean when they say, “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” I just want to speak to the underdogs who feel like what they want is impossible. Please, please keep putting one foot in front of the other however dark it might be - I PROMISE, you were made for a time such as this on purpose and for purpose! #CrystalAsige #TIME100NEXT #BlindingAllureMixtape

@awatila @USAIDKenya Interesting. I didn’t see that report from them. It’s time for us to take off the training wheels and cycle on our own. we’ll be better for it.

@awatila That’s true, I agree. My take away and the most eminent part of the cuts is; “what are we going to do about it?” That’s the existential question.

The truth is, we are more than statistics, and more than society’s limits. I didn’t choose this path, but I own it. I seek to pave the way for others because our story doesn’t end here — it begins. #MotivationMonday

Makes sense. When you think about it though, you could liken marriage to a business. Husband and wife are the cofounders that sign a marriage contract under law, the home is the office building, utility bills are the overheads, children are the assets, there is a finance department, health department, romance department, spiritual department, HR department for your housie, askari etc, and even annual leave for Christmas in shags. All these must be managed through regular meetings and daily decision-making in order to run smoothly. sounds like a business partnership.

Grace Mulei is a 61 year old trained nurse who diligently served in the healthcare sector for 30 years before her retirement. She protested the challenges citizens face with the new Social Health Authority that resonated significantly with Kenyons, and forcefully arrested for caring about Patients? Just listen to her speak - compassion cannot be a crime.
