Half-Panther, Half-Ape, Heber Springs, Arkansas has one unusual cryptid. It is said to live on land and in the water, seen around Greers Ferry Lake and Little Red River. Sightings were abundant during the 20th century, but recently have declined.

In 1976, in Abington, Massachusetts, fire fighter Philip Kane discovered that his two ponies were killed by a large, black dog. The dog had ripped out their throats, and Kane witnessed it gnawing on its corpses. Searches for the dog commenced, but the canine eluded them.

Cryptids are seen everywhere; even factories, such as the General Motors Delphi Plant in Anderson, Indiana, where employees claimed to have seen squid like creatures swimming in toxic effluvium of a used oil-pit. They even captured one alive, but it has since disappeared.

On October 25th, 1974, Carl Higdon was elk hunting in Medicine Bow National Park, when time slowed down, and a strange alien approached the hunter, saying “How you doin”. It called itself the Ausso One, and invited the hunter on his ship, a floating cube.

Not only was this unknown fowl seen, but it was also eaten. According to tribesmen in Zululand, the mystery bird is the size of a turkey, can fly, and will fly in flocks of six to seven. Even G.T Court saw, and then, devoured one of these birds

In 1928, when he saw a strange creature, Hebert Sass was rowing in Goose Creek Lagoon, South Carolina. It was 5-6 feet long, pink and thick-skinned. He claimed it was a Hellbender, yet hellbenders are not found in that area, nor do they grow to that size.

On March 10th, 1996, a woman from Sweetwater, Florida reported an “inhuman thing”, cross her yard, and soon more people came forward claiming to have seen the beast. Goats and chickens were found dead, and many thought the Chupacabra from Puerto Rico had come to the state.

Dubbed “the Loch Ness Monster of Quebec”, Ponik was first seen in the 1870s. In 1913, a logging boss named Noe Ducharme tried fishing out the monster with specially made hooks and bait made from meat and cheese.

Reported in the Athens Post on February 22nd 1850, was a story of farmers hunting a supposed wild woman, who was blamed for stealing pigs near the banks of Navidad, Texas. It was described as hairy, about 5ft tall, & wielding a massive stick. Sightings prior were reported in 1837

The West-Jersey Pioneer in October 15th, 1859 told a tale of a ferry boat of people who encountered a passenger who was half-woman, half pig. A similar story was told in Albany, New York if a woman who’s upper-half was that of a pig.

In November 1884, near Oskaloosa, Iowa, a 400lb pig went missing from a 6ft barbed wire fenced enclosure. The farmer periodically lost pigs until he decided to stake out the pen. That night, he saw a long-neck creature emerge from Skunk River & take off with a pig

For an unspecified amount of time, people in and around the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge claimed to have seen a strange creature called the Boar Man. He’s described as an 8ft man who wears pig-skin, carries boar tusks, and could transform into a massive boar.

The Fating’ho is a small hominid seen in the dense forests of Senegal and northern Guinea. In November of 1992, entomologist Malang Mane claimed to have seen a man-sized animal walk within a few feet of him. The creature has been compared with the Agogwe and the “pig genie”

In Hungarian folklore, Fisher Pigs are large boar-like animals seen along the marshes of the Rivers Tisza & Koros. Though sightings ceased in the late 19th century, some still speculate over the pig’s identity; either wild boars or living entelodonts

The Telepathic Football is a humorous name given to a creature seen by two Chilean boys around Villa San Rafael in 2002. The boys described the creature as dog-like, red-eyed, with hair like a pig & was shaped like a rugby football

The Nirivilu, also known as the Ngarrafilu, is a huge river monster, said to be part snake and part wolf. The monster comes from Argentina Araucanian folklore and was recorded by Gregorio Alvarez in his 1968 book, El Tronco de Oro.

According to the Chicago Tribune, in 1892, two boys saw a giant snake while fishing out on Geneva Lake, Wisconsin. This was the first sighting of Jenny, which picked up in 1902, though modern sightings are now rare.

Possibly Trinidad’s version of South America’s Giant Anaconda legend, the Huillia was described to be a 25-foot snake, that swam vertically, not horizontally like most snakes. A search was conducted in 1934, but it turned up nothing.

A foreign teacher named David Nardiello was biking down a rice paddy in Osaka, Shikoku, Japan when he saw a creature rise out of a nearby lake. He described it as having the face of a snake, eyes like a shark & the body of a cat. Not only that, but it had wings & was able to fly

In June of an undisclosed year, a woman from Westbrook, Maine claimed to have seen a massive snake-like creature swimming in the Presumpscot River, which devoured a small animal. Later in August, a man walking along the river claimed to have found the molten skin of a 12ft snake
