@ANewCrusade33 @Inflatable4skin Now that we're safely down a rabbit hole - has anyone talked about Wes Huff's Katana video? It's like a cross between Steven Seagal and Jeff Durbin - the Reformed Bros flocked to it like Zoomer Trads to the e-Girl debate.

@Soteriology101 I followed a bread crumb trail from Calvin -> WCF -> LBCF on this paragraph about the Canon, which was enough against Calvin for me. This just sounded Gnostic - especially relative to the Catholic argument of "the Apostle's successors / with authority determined the Canon"

@Deadelephants2 Protestant takes like that are exhausting in-and-of-themselves. What a relief it must be! - to pray without ceasing or hindrance, in the presence of God and the rest of the Saints! What else do they think is going on in Heaven?!?! American retirement 2.0??

@jmwc3 @5Solas2 ππ I'll grant you - one of us is falsely equivocating. I can play semantic games. Do you think your "Baptist" faith tradition has its origins with John the Baptist in the Bible? Or the "anabaptists", London Baptists, whoever go back? I'll defend my pos.; curious for yours

@jmwc3 @5Solas2 Word equivocation? Oh, so you just whip out a fallacy on top of your interpretation of Scripture, Sola Scriptura and Church history? Tell that to St. Ignatius of Antioch. The Catholic Church is there. 1st Century witness. I could show you Peter, purgatory, Mary, magisterium too.
