Georgia christian school teacher & church youth leader, Christian Baumgarth, has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for possessing & distributing images of children under the age of 12 being sexually abused.

West Virginia church youth pastor, John Radcliff, and his wife Kathy, have both been arrested on charges of raping children.

Here in the U.S. you most likely have not heard of this case or this absolutely HEROIC woman. Her name is Giséle Pelicot and her ex-husband of 50 years has pled guilty to placing drugs in her food and drinks for a 10 year period time, after which he would then invite men into their home to commit aggravated sexual assault against her with him, as she laid there incapacitated. He and 40 other men now stand trial for aggravated rape. The ex husband had over 20,000 images and videos stored on his phone depicting the horrific crimes against his wife. Ms. Pelicot in an incredible act of bravery waived anonymity as she wanted to embolden other women victims to come forward and out their attackers. She has shattered the ridiculous myth of the monster rapist and has allowed the public to know that the attacker can be the very person you’re closest to. The mother and grandmother has allowed for her life to be put under the microscope of a trial in order to create awareness. Every day she walks into Court, composed and ready to withstand cross examination by 40 attorneys defending her attackers. “One lawyer asked her — causing an uproar in the courtroom — “Would you not have a secret inclination for exhibitionism?” Another suggested: “These photos are very explicit. Not all women would accept this type of photo, even with a loving husband.”” “Ms. Pelicot remained defiant. “If this is an attempt to trap me, it’s difficult to bear,” she said. “What is it that you’re looking for here in this room, to make me look guilty?”” Ms. Pelicot is hero and her story should be known because she wants it that way as she is an advocate for victims of sexual assault all over the world.
