Checking box scores this morning and seeing so many Wilmington high school kids making contributions to their college teams last night, really puts it into perspective for me. From Division 1 to 3, there were Wildcats at all 3 levels. Special stuff.
After a long 48 hours for mom and baby. Happy to introduce Drew Turner!
Mom and Drew both doing well!!! Great job
@BritTurner22
you’re an absolute rock star. My swaddling skills definitely need work- it’s been a while.
Should be heading down 38 for the season opener at Woburn tonight. Thinking of our kids today. I know they’re all desperate to get back to doing what they love with their teammates.
Proud of our kids. Didn’t quite have enough, but they never stopped fighting. Congrats to
@FoxboroWarrior
they have a first class program and it was an honor to go down to Foxboro and play them. Statewide playoff is awesome in my book. Great experience for our kids.
Tough one today. Tewksbury was everything we thought they’d be and more. I’m Thankful for - 4,5,8,10,11,21,22,26,28,33,34,44,54,55,63,68,70,77,86 We’ll miss you guys greatly. Thank you for believing in us as coaches and helping to bring back Wilmington Football.

“I can’t bring them in at 4 in the morning in the offseason to make them that good - I just can’t do it.”

It was a privilege to watch our guys plant flags this afternoon in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11. An important lesson for these young men to learn, that we will always remember and honor those who’s lives were lost that day. Thank you
@ForBendel
for inviting us.
Amelia turns 5 today! Unfortunately her party was cancelled like everything else, but she’s still excited for her big day. Her B day wishes- “I wish I could play with my friends” and she “wouldn’t mind a couple presents” hard to argue with that. Happy Birthday Amelia!
Very saddened to hear the news that Coach Rocky Nelson passed away. He was a huge help to me when I took over in Wilmington and I’ll always be thankful for that. An absolute legend who touched the lives of so many. Rest In Peace Coach.
We lost a legend today… Mark did so much for my family and I over the years. No one was ever more willing to help others than he was. I can only hope to touch a fraction of the lives he touched as a coach. RIP Dunny.
Been thinking a lot about Mystic Valley folding their program the last few days. Myself and a lot of others put in a lot of time into building that thing from the ground up. I still remember the first Varsity win like it was yesterday. It’s sad to see where the program was...
What a great turnout for the Wilmington High Football Freshmen team. 35+ 8th graders signed up for Freshmen football next season. Welcome to the Wildcat Family!!!
Today and tomorrow- The two best days of the year. I feel so badly for the kids that are missing the memories that should be made. I’ll be thinking a lot about our kids today and tomorrow. I am truly Thankful to be their coach. Happy Thanksgiving
@Wilmcats
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! Lucky to be able to share the sidelines with my Dad and brother again this fall. Best special teams guy in the business!
Cats get the win at home vs Saugus 14-8. Freshman QB Joe McCauley with 2 TD passes to Senior Christian Robarge and Sophomore Gavin Erickson. Defense got the stop at the end for the win!
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! Lucky to have shared the sidelines with my dad over the years. Thanks to some recent great news he’ll be back with us full time next season. Looking forward to being reminded about how much more football he’s seen in his life than me.
Proud of our kids. Played whistle to whistle for 4 quarters against a very good
@INDIANPRIDE2019
team. Best of luck to Coach Sigsbury and his guys this season.
3 years ago tonight- We got the first playoff win in school history beating Gloucester 30-0. What a great group of kids that was. We’re working hard to get back there!
Very proud of the way our kids battled today especially under the circumstances. Thank you to our seniors for all your hard work and dedication over the last 4 years. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Sad for the kids I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the Wilmington class of 2020. A great group of kids, who didn’t ask or deserve this situation at all, they are such great kids and deserved better.
Congratulations to the following STUDENT-Athletes who excelled this quarter! We didn’t lose a single player to grades and had 40% of the team on either the High Honors or the Honors list for the 1st quarter. Proud coach!
3 guys on the Shriners is a huge honor for our program and well deserved for these 3 guys. Congrats
@jchirichiello79
@Marcellomiz25
@gavine1219
can’t wait to watch you guys play together one last time!
A great night for our seniors as the Cats finish 4-2 after a 42-7 win. Thank you to our seniors and their parents for all their hard work and support the last 4 years!
Cats finished the spring season last night 4-2. Lots to look forward to in August. Can’t say enough about our kids. No positive tests and played every scheduled game. Thank you to
@Wilmington_AD
and the rest of the school administration for making the season happen for the kids.
Congratulations to Nathan Curdo on his academic awards last night. Nathan is one of the most selfless and hardworking young men I’ve ever coached. We’ll all be working for him someday! Congrats Nathan.
Can’t wait for Thursday morning. This is why we wanted to be in Wilmington! Looks like this is the highest combined win total of the two teams since 2007. Excited to become a small part of such a great tradition.
July 1st and a lot of people are off on vacation. Knowing expectations for workout attendance are low this week due to so many of their teammates being away, I knew it’d be an easy week to skip if you weren’t away. Then 35 kids showed up and worked their tails off.
#ProudCoach
Excited for all the WHS student athletes that get to start fall sports tomorrow. Good luck to all! Wish we were included but we’ll continue to wait our turn.
#FootballinFebruary
Good win for the Cats on the road tonight 31-12 at Gloucester. Bailey Smith with 190 on the ground and two TD’s. Joe McCauley with two TD passes to Marcello Misuraca and Tristan Ciampa. Great job boys!
Part 1: Here me out on this.
The only kids on the football team I coach strength & Conditioning for who have overuse injuries, got those injuries in other sports, not football.
Kids who don’t play sports with repetitive movements, who are injured, are injured from contact.
Yesterday’s tough morning put the finishing touches on a tough season for the Cats. Hard to see the silver lining sometimes after a season like that, but we’re excited for the potential we saw in our young kids that got so much experience this season and we can’t wait for 2019
Unfortunately for
@BritTurner22
her birthday falls during football preseason every year we’ve ever been together. I’m never home and never available. She’s never once complained (at least not publicly) because she’s the most supportive wife anyone could ask for. Happy Birthday!!!
33rd Annual College Football Recruiting Night is Tuesday at 7pm at Tewksbury Country Club. This event is free to all HS Players looking to play at the next level and averages over 30 Colleges/Universities in attendance and 200+ Players. This is a tremendous opportunity for all!
Very special day today for one of our own as Coach Gentile is down south to see his son Mark Gentile’s graduation day as a US Marine. Congratulations to Mark!!!
Santa came. Excited to watch Amelia open her presents and enjoy an awesome day with family. Need to wish a special Merry Christmas to the one person who makes everything happen for me and Amelia. Best coach’s wife in the business! Love you!
Was just filled in on the numbers for Middle School Football sign ups. I’d say Football is alive and well in Wilmington!!! Can’t wait to check out a game in the Fall.
March’s lifter of the month was Sophomore to be Jake Chirichiello.
Jake made excellent progress this month with the PLT4M program. This month Jake saw his 1 rep max climb by 20 lbs on the bench, 5 lbs on cleans, 35 lbs on squats and 25 lbs on deadlifts.
Great job Jake!
Congrats and good luck to the WHS Class of 2018. Particularly the football guys, thanks for everything- 4,5,8,10,11,21,22,26,28,33,34,44,54,55,63,68,70,77,86 We’ll miss you guys a great deal. Thank you for everything you did for Wilmington Football.
Big night on the ice for the Cats last night congrats to
@WilmHockey
on a solid opening night win and to
@WhsGirlshock16
on the huge victory to start the year. I’m sure it was a surprise to everyone but the people in your locker room! Big winter ahead!
Very proud of the commitment from our guys this summer so far. Packed weight room twice a day. Kids pushing each other and holding each other accountable. Nothing better!
Amelia’s first soccer game this morning. 1 Goal. 3 dandi lions picked. Lots of work to do. We’re going to enjoy this one for today and get back to work on Monday.
#GoldStandard
Well, I’m officially a married man. Thanks for everyone who came and celebrated, was a great time to see everyone! It’s not a super bowl ring, but its still pretty awesome!
1 more month. The next time the Calendar has a 17 on it we’ll be coming together for practice

. Nobody wishes summer away quite like a football coach.
This is terrible news. Dotty will be missed by the Wilmington Football program a great deal. She was such a pleasure to have as our bus driver. Our road games won’t be the same without her next season. Condolences to her familyand friends. Rest In Peace.
Big win 43-7 over Dracut. These kids have continued to show up and work their butts every day regardless of the results. Celebrate fellas. You earned it.
#RollCats
Cats make the final 4
@northeast7v7
but lose a tough one in the semi’s to Methuen, 14-13. Great run today after going 4-0 in pool play, the boys finished the day 5-1. Great tourney as always!
The end of May means football prep is kicking into high gear. At the school for workouts or practice 5-6 days a week for the next 6 months. Hopefully we’re all back to that soon. I really miss working with the kids everyday. Can’t wait to get back to it.
Really proud of our Cats today. 3-1 in Pool play and a great effort in the playoffs came up a yard short in a 7-6 loss to Lynn Classical. Great spring board for the season. Thanks again to
@northeast7v7
, always a well run, 1st class event. 20 more days fellas!
