A friend from church gave me 2 1/72 scale P-51 Mustang kits. Finished them straight out of the box, as there were decals for 2 different planes. 🤠

The day after… First ever for real Alert launch. Sitting Alert 15 on ENTERPRISE, and called away for inbound Bogey. Wingman went down before launch. Off the deck in 11 and saddled in on an Iranian P-3 minutes later. 2 Sidewinders and 2 AMRAAM. He made a quick 180 back to base🤠

I’m 61. Spent the last 18 months caring for my wife of 40 years, as she underwent surgery to remove breast cancer, and the associated reconstruction. I know she would do the same for me. Happy to be together and spoiling our 6th grandchild.

Ok, so I called Timid Vance a “no-load” in a recent tweet. For those who don’t know, a “no-load” in Navy jargon is a catapult shot without anything attached to the catapult shuttle. Applied to people it denotes worthlessness, or someone who doesn’t fulfill their obligations. 🤠
