NEVER EVER leave your suit unattended at any event. Especially your head. It only takes a second for someone to walk off with it. Carry it with you always or have a constant line of sight on it if you must set it down. No event is safe from dishonest people.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life. New job, new lifestyle. Im excited, but also terrified and extremely anxious. This is going to be a huge adjustment to get used to. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me and giving me encouragement. I love you all.

How does everyone get so many suit photos of themselves at cons? Selfie sticks? Handlers? For as often as I suit around at cons, I have barely any photos to show for it, and id like to change that.

Well. Thats how my day went. I am fine, car is a little different, but she still got me home, drove away. No leaks and AC still works. Shes served me well, I will be doing what i can to see if repairs are possible.

Been feeling really down lately. All I do is work, when I come home I hide in my room to avoid family drama, I don't have energy to do anything, Im mentally drained and just feel like my soul has broken. I dont feel depressed, I just feel numb, screaming into the void.

I think ive reached the end of my rope at my current job (microwave oven technician) I'm not learning any new skills, and my pay is honestly quite dismal. I need to find a company that wil allow me more responsibility and avenues for growth.

@PinkFeral the people who are complaining about a 5k piece of art clearly dont understand what art really is and should really familiarize themselves with the mentality of the art world. all art has value, and its no ones business to cast judgment on an artist or buyer for seeing that value.

Hot take.Individual cons are great for their own individual reasons, whether you agree with how they operate or not. I'd rather cons maintain individually unique experiences rather than the same universally agreed apon cookie cutter con template in multiple locations.

Im getting second hand PCD from all post FWA posts. I really wish i could have been there, really happy to see that the con has grown and that everyone had a great time. Hopefully next year I will return.

Had to cancel my FWA plans for this year, I have been dealing with some stuff recently and im not feeling up to another con right now. It wasn't an easy decision but i think its for the best.

Ive got to figure out my work/life balance, where I'm at currently, all I do when I get home from work is sleep, wake up next day do it over again. I think im going to get my pc up to speed and try to get on some games or something again.
