Thank you to
@ClarkUniversity
for inviting our director to speak on a panel during their esports conference this weekend! Our staff had a wonderful time learning and connecting with others in the space!
I genuinely do not feel as though I should need a Masters degree to run an esports program at the director level. And thought people disagree with me I’ve never heard an actual reason why. Am I wrong or does credentialism matter that much?
Fuck it, what about the time I banned a player in Maine for one event because I had THREE different women come to me with stories of harrassment at the same event and most of the other Maine TOs got upset that I did it since "that's just how he is". We need to be fucking better.
As much as I'm glad that people in the Smash scene are outing their abusers and we're getting these predators out of the community. It's also made me extra pissed about getting banned from Shine for requesting to not have my volunteer shifts scheduled near my abuser.
I got a second interview for the director spot and I'm going to go see the campus in 2 weeks <3. I'm already in love with this school I know I could build the best esports program with them. Fingers crossed
Did in person interviews for a head coach position today and almost everyone I spoke with had a moment of "so the guys er uh and girls...if there are any". Tell me you usually interview men without telling me you usually interview men
Just to be perfectly clear, I am no longer dating pugwest. I'm appalled by what he's done and even more offended that while I was was struggling with the ramifications of my own assault and rape, he...he fucking was like this
Sometimes I feel like trash that doesn’t belong in collegiate esports and sometimes a student’s parent buys me dinner and tells me how much their kid thinks I’m doing a good job
To be clear, I think it’s wild that people are backing up
PACE when Fisher was vilified for a lesser allegation. But this isn’t about that
It’s about having consistent and clear procedures and penalties for these things and we ALL benefit from that
While my account is still popping off I'd like to remind everyone that this is still for sale! It has a bunch of functional mods, so check out the original post for specific details!
Currently running at $350, an over 15% discount from the original price! DM for inquiries.
There is nothing I hate more on God's green earth than a collegiate job listing with a role description of a director but the pay and title of a head coach
Just did the interview for a director spot and I think I did well? I'm on to the next round at least. I cannot get over all the support I've had from fellow esports people and I am so grateful because it is 100% what kept me calm enough to do the interview today
What the fuck is going on with Esports Gear? I’m in 4 different Discord servers now with different people and I’m honestly just going to tell Assumption to go with someone else at this point
This the proof for my newest sticker. Why is this important? I'm selling these for $5 each and ALL of the profit is being donated to
@RAINN
in honor of the Smash Community for dealing with all the recent assault and abuse allegations. Please share, DM to purchase
Trying to decide between squeezing into a dress and going to an after party or eating a whole pizza in my hotel room tonight and it just feels very “two wolves”
Having an absolute blast at Dreamland. Got to play some Smash with people for maybe the last time in a long time, saw friends from around the world, got to see a Diddy get a win on a PGR player... thank you
@Jebailey
. If this is my last event for awhile, I'm glad it was yours
Normally on my birthday I tend to dwell on all the things I haven't accomplished by this point or the things I don't have yet. But it's a little hard this year on the account of being generally fucking happy with my life.
I said this while running a game store and I'll say it again, scalpers are a plague. I strictly enforced purchase limits and refused sales to people who behaved poorly or tried to cheat the system and I stand by it and no I really wasnt missing out on sales by turning people away
I moved 100s of miles away from Kurse and I broke up with Pugwest. I'm honestly kind of fucked up from everything but ultimately, I'm safe. Please prioritize helping the people who aren't.
I am both nervous and excited about my new job but mostly impatient for the press release so I can make damn sure all of my friends and family know esports jobs are real and I have one
People keep asking what I'm doing post Assumption so here it is:
1. Working on the Assumption jersey order. More than happy to do it while they search for my replacement.
2. I got the program manager job at Ole Miss, so that's been awesome to be a part of.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that reminds me that I am adult more than sitting on my kitchen floor, with my vintage pokemon blanket, playing video games. Like, I can legally drink, I have a college degree, and here I am.
Not 100% sure why I caught flack for that. Most schools don’t offer full rides for esports, do your research if you’re looking for one and be aware of the kind of students that get them. 🤷

#NationalComingOutDay
is extra special to me since this was the year I accidentally outed myself as gender fluid but damn it's nice to have out there. Goes to show sometimes you're ready to come out even if you dont think you are <3
I’m really trying not to be negative but I’ve been throwing up all day, I miss my family and friends, I miss internet, all my stuff, it’s just a really hard day
