The score line flattered us a bit today as our opponents were by far the better side first 15 minutes and the first to score saying us in 10 league games so huge respect to them, a tactical switch and some incredible finishing and final passes see us get back on track and go top

Tough conditions today with the wind and rain but it didn’t bother the girls, in their first game in nearly two months they put on a quality show of football and another clean sheet in the league to make it 9 out of 9 onto next week after a solid training session this Thursday

Back to some serious training last night ahead of our first game of 2025. With their destiny in their own hands the girls know how tough the task is ahead but based on the efforts last night it’s a task they are going to throw everything at. the futures bright its blue and white

5 x 16 year olds from our team representing the senior team today and making solid contributions to help guide the team to the next round of the Essex Trophy, beyond proud and proof our pathway and the way we have done things over the last 18 months all training together works

Outstanding performance from the girls today with so many players out against a Stanway Pegasus side I have so much respect for, players,parents and coaches who are just good honest people that even despite defeat have nothing but good things to say about us as we do them

It was always going to be a risk going into the season with a squad of 16 and with injury and illness ravaging our squad we hope to get 11 players to give this one a go the best we can. 💙🤍

Delighted with the girls today it was always going to be a tall order and they gave it a good go..but go out of the Essex Cup but as players and coaches with our dignity intact as always, representing the club and the badge in the right way with respect for all 💙🤍

A county cup game against the current leaders of the top division, we go in as huge underdogs but like every game so far this season we will enjoy It, play our brand of football and see where it takes us #COYC

Onto the next round of the presidents cup with another solid performance and 3 goals of real high quality and a triple save from the opponents goalkeeper that would have graced any game at any level, 10.5 hours without conceding will be tested to the max next week

@SophieIbberson As coaches we work so hard and are our own biggest critics, I have had those “giving up moments” many times but deep down I know I couldn’t give up and leave players that I have nurtured and want to be there by their side when they achieve even greater things

A 6th win out of 6 and the score line is a bit harsh on our opponents as our finishing was clinical today and we scored some really impressive goals coupled with the fact we are now 9 hours without conceding a goal and with 3 key players missing that’s pretty impressive

A great result against a side that did the double over us last season, another top drawer display, 5 wins out of 5 and 7.5 hours without conceding a goal, incredible stats for an incredible bunch of young ladies ⚽️
