To say that I'm a detransitioner doesn't actually mean that I'm not trans anymore. That just means I chose to stop the medical transition once I had the chance to realize it was not what I wanted. I continue to identify as non binary.

Transitioning was a journey, one of those journeys that people write memoirs about, and I'm still thinking of doing just that someday. Along the way, I discovered a lot about myself, about the society I live in, and about the treacherous lies conservativism is built on.

In reality, the regret rate is low, detransitioning isn't actually that hard, and the pressure to get surgeries come from the desire to "pass" around cis people, not internal pressure from other trans people.

A lot of people are afraid of "regretting it." Don't be. You can always just stop and move on. You might as well give it a shot.
