@okayestdentist @PrairieVeteran Basic setup for the Baofengs is pretty straight forward. Programming a couple channels to monitor only takes a few minutes. The more indepth features are for more seasoned operators and take some practice

@PrairieVeteran The Baofeng is excellent. Good balance for cost, battery life and range. Fairly easy to get set up, and I can listen to an FM station while I have two channels monitored.

@dangitman50 @WeaponsVault Even with a 7.5 inch barrel the 5.56 nato is pushing 2400 fps. A 55 gr is delivering +800 ft/lbs at the muzzle compared to the 5.7 generating 270-290 ft/lbs depending on the load. The 5.7 is pointless after 100M
