@zoomerpatriott @darwintojesus Was Darwin correct in saying white brains were superior to black brains over cranium size?

@Gecko1114 @darwintojesus Bruh, he said white people were superior to black people due to cranium size….you agree with that?

@somuch2019 Did you know that the concept of truth is not falsifiable? If it can’t be proven or disproven, is it really a valid approach to understand reality?

@somuch2019 You’re appealing to truth. What is your evidence that truth exists? Until you provide evidence of this, all opinions are on equal footing.

@somuch2019 It’s evil just what your feelings say is bad? What is your empiric evidence which proves the existence of evil?

If a hunger for purpose, meaning, and value are biological rather than immaterial, then all of these things are of the same fading existence as our own life. Why do material biological processes create desires for immaterial substance(purpose, meaning, and value)? Derived from sea scum. DNA, code created from non- code, in the simplistic microorganisms, atheism still assumes calculation came from no mind. That the DNA which originates life then writes itself and is sparked by lightning. You can have this faith, yet not believe that the originator of this vast universe became flesh and dwelt among his creation.
@Converts4Christ I definitely agree we’re born with something like a hunger for meaning, purpose and value. But I suspect it’s biological. Not theological. This would make a great debate / discussion one fine day!

Darwin literally argued that White people were superior, had bigger brains than anyone else, and that Black people and other “inferior races”(his words, there’s no such thing as a superior or inferior race of people) would one day be extinct and nobody talks about it….
I'll take Charles Spurgeon's approach on Darwin and evolution. Both lived at the same time. "Within fifty years children in the school will read of extraordinary popular delusions, and this will be mentioned as one of the most absurd of them.” In other words, he thought Darwin was a quak down the street.

Do you think Darwin was wrong for being a racist? IE do you think that his arguments that caucasions are superior to Black people over a larger average cranium size are incorrect?
He didn't even know what DNA was. Nevertheless, he took his observations and came up with conclusions that others built upon, improving it. There was much he got wrong in the detailed mechanisms. But evolution is fundamentally a very accurate model of what is happening in reality.
