The Jets made Darnold see ghosts and now he’s having success in Minnesota. The Jets destroyed Geno Smith only for him to have a successful career in Seattle. Yet people still think Rodgers was the prime cause for the Jets failures last season.

It’s a ridiculous move from a financial perspective but it was time to “move-on” Move-on to obviously being bad the next two years. Which will lead to them to “move-on” from Mougey and Glenn. Which will kickstart another rebuild where they can finally move-on.
The Jets will face $49M in dead money when they eventually release Aaron Rodgers. They can take the full hit this year or, more likely, designate him as a post-6/1 cut. As a 6/1 cut, they’d carry his $23.5M cap hit until June 1, when it drops to $14M—saving $9.5M. However, they’d then absorb a $35M cap hit in 2026.

If I’m any of the Jets young stars I’m demanding a trade. They patiently sat through a rebuild and are now about to enter another rebuild. At a certain point the team has to give you a chance to win and the Jets continue to fail.
Don’t be surprised if Quinnen Williams gets traded. Like I said there will be a lot of surprise cuts and trades and possible move up to top 3 in the draft. Lot of moves to come. #JetUp

@JaydensWayyy Getting beat by 100 in the Super Bowl is way worse from a legacy standpoint. People would’ve understood a narrow Bills loss after 2 straight Super Bowls and forgotten about it
