Today is the 40th anniversary of the election of the Militant led Labour council which refused to implement Thatcher's cuts. They were surcharged and blacklisted. But their courageous stand will be recorded as one of the great struggles in the history of the labour movement.

2023 has been a good year. This year I have stood for TUSC for my local council, got just under 10 percent of the vote to the left of Labour, released and started in a Amazon Prime sit com (Birchalls Pints), been a 4 time Netherton quiz champion and moved out for the first time.
