@HMRCcustomers I can’t access my personal tax account, the criteria it requires to confirm my identity does not pertain and is irrelevant to me and therefore will not allow me access.

@HMRCcustomers Should I contact HMRC via telephone again to confirm they have updated my tax code to 1257L or wait 2 weeks to see if I receive a letter confirming this? I don’t want to continue being unnecessarily taxed.

@HMRCcustomers 1st letter was for year 2021-2022 and put me on tax code 107T X. I rang you to change this, so I wouldn’t be emergency taxed. 2nd letter 2022-2023 has put me on tax code BR, telling me I’ll be taxed 20% on everything I earn? I only have one job and should be on tax code 1257L?

@HMRCgovuk @HMRCcustomers Twice I have waited, over an hour, to speak to somebody to change my tax code. After being assured by 2 different members of staff that they’ve changed my tax code, I am STILL receiving letters that say you have put me on the WRONG tax code 😵‍💫🤯 help?!?!
